Health and Safety reps

PCS's health and safety reps are volunteers. They do a fantastic job to keep us and our work environments safe.

Health and safety reps are given training on health and safety law, workplace practices and guidance. They are legally allowed paid time off work to do health and safety training and to do health and safety activities in their workplace.

Health and safety reps work in a team with other union reps on issues like stress or bullying in the workplace. We have a mentoring programme for new reps, regular support meetings and health and safety forums.

We have a detailed health and safety guidance in PCS Knowledge for all our health and safety reps.
