Striking ISS workers in Whitehall departments joined forces with ISS colleagues at the Cabinet Office to express solidarity with each other.
ISS strikers heard on today’s picket (15) that they are an “inspiration to millions of other workers” who have “been treated like dirt by their employer”.
Support from MPs and the public poured in this week for ISS members who are undertaking 36 days of strike action.
PCS members working in three major government departments for outsourced company ISS are to start the first of 36 days of strike action on 1 November.
A loud and lively picket line today (9) on Victoria Street in London kicked off five further days of action by PCS members working in three major Whitehall departments.
