Security guards working in jobcentres across the UK are striking for 7 days in support of fair pay from 17 June and would appreciate support.
PCS members at the National Museums Liverpool have voted to accept an improved pay offer, bringing to an end their long-running dispute.
Security guards working in jobcentres across the UK will strike for 7 days in support of fair pay from midnight on 17 June. The 200 PCS members are joining their comrades from GMB in taking action.
The long-running strike at National Museums Liverpool will be suspended from Tuesday (28 May) to Sunday 2 June to allow members to vote on an improved offer from management.
The case for radical reform of the social security system was made at a fringe meeting ahead of the start of annual delegate conference in Brighton today (21).
