News
Many DWP offices face closure on Tuesday (7) and Wednesday (8) as a result of strike action by G4S staff called by the GMB union.
The message to members is “post today, without delay” with only a few days left to maximise ballot turnout and ensure members have their say in our national campaign.
Activists across the union are using a new PCS Digital function called ‘follow up targets’ to prioritise contacting members who’ve recently engaged with the union.
Almost a third of HMRC staff are so poorly paid they’ll receive an uplift to ensure that the government department is compliant with the minimum wage.
PCS General Secretary says it is a “major blow” for members that Labour may be considering weakening its new deal for workers.
